International checkers app for iPhone and iPad
International checkers follows the international rules on an 8x8 board.
It extends the british playing rules by mainly :
1) Allowing backward jumps (but still allowing forward moves only)
2) Giving King the power to move and jump several squares in all directions ... (Like a Queen on a chessboard).

This checkers version is the most popular in the world and is traditionally played in many western and eastern european countries, Russia, Netherlands, France, Switzerland, french speaking african countries. (Whereas Anglo-saxon checkers are almost not played there).

... but in my opinion there could be choice of rules (polish, english, etc). I do not understand why I have to download several apps for different set of rules

It has all the international rules. Brings back memory from childhood days in Africa
